Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Grippit LLC ("Grippit," "we," "us") collects through grippit.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run your inspection or your account, we don't sell it, and we don't track you around the internet.
What we collect
What you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email, trade, service area, Google Business Profile link, and anything else you type into our forms.
What we find in public: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your website, and the business contact details listed there. We look at these to run an inspection, whether you asked for one or we reached out first.
If you become a client: billing details (handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card or bank account numbers), your phone setup, and the information you share with us during onboarding.
Basic site traffic: our website host counts visits, pages viewed, the site that sent you, and your device type. It doesn't build a profile of you or follow you to other sites. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How we use it
We use your information to run your free inspection and send you the Inspection Report; to review signups, set up your account, and provide our services; to contact you by phone, text, or email about your inspection, signup, or account; to bill you if you're a client; and to understand how our website is used overall so we can improve it.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run Grippit, and only what they need to do their job:
- Email and text messaging providers, which send our messages
- Our customer management and database systems, where we keep inspection requests, signups, and client records
- Our payment processor, which handles billing
- Our website host
- The team members and staffing partners who work on your account, who are bound to keep it confidential
We may also share information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy still applies to your information. We never share one client's information, reports, or strategy with another client.
If you're a Grippit client
When we text or respond to your callers and customers on your behalf, we handle their information only to provide our services to you. We don't use it for anything else, and it stays yours.
Text messages
If you give us your number and agree to receive texts, we'll text you about your inspection, signup, or account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that provide support services, such as the messaging platform that sends our texts. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection and signup information as long as it's useful for following up with you. We keep client information for as long as you're a client, plus any time we need to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
Email hello@grippit.ai to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Reply STOP to stop texts, and use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails. If we have to keep something for legal or billing reasons, we'll tell you.
Security
We use reputable service providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Grippit is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email our clients.
